This should fix your "speeding up" problems but on your PC you shouldn't have any slow downs.

Go into the task manager (ctrl+shift+escape or ctrl+alt+delete) go to the processes tab look for the game's exe, don't remember but it should be something with pop...exe, right click on it "Set Affinity" and deselect all cores except one, in your case you have to deselect only one, doesn't matter which one.

I tried this, but the game still the same!! Either accelerates, or slows down as hell which makes me lose my mind!!! Do you have any other solutions please? Thank you for responding anyway. ;)

I don't think it's an error if the site automatically sees your videocard?... I don't know.

Try downloading it anyway, and then post how it goes with the game.

Done, I still have the same problem! I think it's something to do with the CPU frequency as written in the Readme file of the game... Are you sure you don't know how to set a constant CPU frequency? Do you know somebody that might know how? Cuz I wanna try it if the game might work with that.. Thank you for your help! :)

Try here:http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

Just choose your specifications(OS, Video card etc.) and you'll find a compatible driver.

Oh thanks, that's what I did... But even if I download the latest one (Radeon HD 4890 Series) it still says that I have ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series... Is this normal? Or is it an error with the drive? If it is a problem, then how can I fix it? (Can I update chipsets or something in order to be able to update video card to the latest?...)

I'm not sure about CPU frequency, but did you reinstall the latest video drivers after reformatting?

LGTX
Hey, thanks for responding! But do you know where can I get the latest video drivers please? Thanks.

I had Prince of Persia The Two Thrones installed on my PC formerly, and had no problems with the game... But after a reformat and re-installation of the game I have experienced a serious problem with the game. The problem is, that whenever I access the game, it either accelerates or slows down as hell!! I tried maxing the graphics and putting them at the lowest level, and still, the same problem! I've read the Readme file and it says that I have to try setting a constant CPU frequency in my PC's bios... But how to do it??? And does it really solve the problem? Has anyone had this problem before? If you know how to solve this out, any help would be appreciated :) Thanks in advance.. My PC specs: OS: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2(Should I upgrade to Service Pack 3?) Processor: Genuine Intel(R) CPU 2160 @ 1.80GHz (Dual-Core of course) Memory: 1GB of RAM Graphics card: ATi Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series (512MB) DirectX 9.0c installed And... I don't know if that helps really, but my PC System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
