Oblivion is the best game I've ever played hands down! I would give it a 10/10... But there are still so many things that could have been better... maybe not for its time 2006.. But there is plenty of room for improvements for TES V
These are the things that i would change/improve/add:
1. Variety! I wouldn't mind if the world was smaller, just as long as there was much more variety. It should be an experience toexplore the depths of the sea, the tall grass, the ancient ruins, the snowy stormy mountains and the dark caves.It can become really repetitive to walk through100 dungeonswhen the only thing that differ is the size!Or justhearing the same voice and the same lines over and over again. And seeing almost theexact same faces everywhere.I would love to seebig thin guys,smallfat guys, old people, children, ugly to gorgeousgirls etc.
2. The game should be playable in 3rd person view! You look like you arehovering over the ground wtf?? (Fallout 3 has the exact same problem.. Bethesda please fix it!)
3. The fighting system could need some improvements. It would be nice if the weapons really affected the creatureslike cut wounds, severed limbs, Instant kills like a stab through thestomach or cutting the head off (depending on which level you are).. Or if you chose the road of a stealthy assassin you should be able to silentlyslit the enimesthroat etc.it would really helpmake you feel morepowerful!
4. Talking about feeling powerful! Level Scaling really destroys that feeling! It is an important factor to a game like TES that you feel cool playing your character. Feeling powerful isn't being able to kill everything easily, far from it! Demon Soul is a great example of a game that is frigging hard, but really makes you feel powerful when you kill a boss. I want a similar feeling playing TES V :)
4. The Magic System should be rebuild from scratch. When I played awizard I never feltlike aGreat Sorcerer. There shoulddefinitely be more epic spells with epic animations!! Andthere should be a better way, than buying spells and scrolls, to become this great wizard.
5. The world is beautiful, but I really would like to see it become filled with non-threateninglife; birds, insects, fish,friendly monsters andgiantcreatures just walking around minding their own business. It shouldalsobe interesting exploring theocean.
6.I know this has been mentioned a thousand timeson this tread, but ALOT more monsters! I don't like fighingrats,goblins andcrabsin every f**king cave/dungeon I enter!! Especially notwiththe level scaling feature... It would be much more challenging and exciting if you had noclue what washiding in the darkness of thedungeons.It couldmean instant death if you weren't careful.Epic Monsters like giant sea monsters, dragons, krakens andetc.
7. It should be cool being a Vampire and not a pain in the a**!!
8. Dialogue should be more like Mass Effect, and the consequences of yourchoices should form the storyline.
9. You should be able to do evil deeds without the guards mysteriouslyseeing your every move!?
10. More special items; like one-of-a-kind armors, weapons, scrolls etc.
11.The races, classes, birthsigns shouldaffect your character more.

I will end the same I started I loved Oblivion and if TES V will impress mejust half as much asOblivion did then TES V will become GOTY! I have fate in you Bethesda :)
