@Trickymaster @AlkaPorty Wow... I agree that's bullshit right-up the ass, but I'm using a PS3 since my two firsts xbox broke.

@sfreedom21 Sorry I just saw your comment. Completely agree with this, it's just a marketing action to either sell your information, giving you ads and forcing you to buy their next console if you still wan't to play all the games you bought for the last-gen. It's complete bullshit marketing pay-more have-less and no one should support this.

That also means that you won't be able to play on your console once they shut down the servers for the next-gen.

@theR34p3R @AlkaPorty Well they don't care about what their customers think, so I highly doubt they're even reading them.

Everything else that uses internet will still be accessible offline, why consoles should be different?
Relying on servers to play a single-player game that you already paid, on a console you already paid is plain bullshit. Next what, you will have to pay monthly fees to just even access the console?

"Well, that's a question you should put to Microsoft and Sony! I would say that a lot of people are already always online through other devices,"
Maybe, but when I go offline with those I can still access offline contents and they don't shutdown after 3 minutes.

They probably want to follow your slightest moves so they can sell your information to companies and send you messages like: You died a lot at this point of the game, buy the "Soldier Pack" with more ammunition and two extra armors for only 1,99$!

@Karchy They lowered the price of the ferrystones in Dark Arisen so it is way more easy to acquire, and you can always find a save file on the internet :D

@CRAPCOM1926 @tempus78 lol they're two completely different games; one is a strategic dungeon crawling and the other is a open-world adventure. Even the combat system and bosses battles are nothing alike.

@JimmeyBurrows @pulamata Well at GameStop I got 15$ credit for Dragon's Dogma, and with all the new contents (new skills, new enemies, new customization option, new equipment, new tiers) and the things they fixed I think it's not that bad. I've seen worst like 15$ for 3 maps DLC.
But I totally agree that they should have release this without the original game too, or at least giving more contents for owners of Dragon's Dogma.
