Those sad frakkers appear to be trying to communicate their dire horniness and frustration. A lot of them are prepubescent, most adolescent, I'd wager, with a couple of adult freaks mixed in for good measure. Most of them would probably never harm a fly. One of the reasons for this is precisely because they can live out their darkest crap and impulses in the virtual arena.

I understand how.. hurtful some of their comments may be viewed as, but keep in mind, you'd much rather want to know the type of mindsets you are dealing with than force some sort of a censorship on what they can say. You want it out in the open.

This is not real, none of it is real. Their emotion is misplaced, hopefully harmless, and your monicker just happened to be in the way. Do not fret. Ignore the frakkers. They're just as bad to other men too. Just as bad. Don't be sissies fellow gamerettes. Take it in stride, with a smile, or a righteous frown but game the frak on.

But this surface tends to irk them more than the actual issues gaming faces today - the influx of cancerous casuals that put their money behind the most unimaginative of games, gaming as a trend as opposed to something done for fun, big money involved making games be built safe without experimentation, shitty copy/paste games, gratuitous amounts of violence drawing in the most immature of people etc..

Now, while I do agree most female character design is overbearingly and unnecessarily distractingly boobily, and I do agree that the industry could use a lot more female input regarding the design, the stories and characters - My previous experience tells me to be wary. I want to understand, is this thing she fronts for but a fad, or is she for real? Is her agenda pure? Does she have an ulterior motive? Is she out to make a gonad necklace? Is she in it for the quick buck? What is her angle?

I love deep, complex character driven games such as Dreamfall the Longest Journey or Neverwinter Nights, but at the end of the day, no one is going to tell me what to play or what to think.

I don't take kindly to people presuming they know what is good for me better than me myself. If she's for real, I'm all for it. There desperately needs to be a female hand present in the industry. If she's just another fake wanting to spay our nutsacks, she can go to hell.

What if this 'hack' was but a ploy using which Riot hoped to get back inactive EUNE and west players, making them check in and maybe start a game? Riot has been making a lot of gritty dark characters that don't mesh well with the rest of the roster. I got used to the offbeat, somewhat cartoony design not taking itself too seriously. These new characters are off-putting. But the real deal breaker for me is the goddamn community. The game is fine.

Turn the music off Stephen Totilo? Only once have I killed the sound in a game throughout the years and it was just the sfx for Motorstorm Artic Edge, and it... did make the game that much better. Usually, I don't disrespect the game, I respect it as much as possible, as I would a book. I willingly unhinge myself from RL and all its currents, ideas and podcasts. There's just the game, and me. I don't game to be trendy or informed or in the loop, then again I don't write about games for a living, so I don't have to do all those things, I don't have to plug cables into my ears during my leisure time. You can game without music, sure, but it's like being colorblind and seeing, or reading a book with missing pages. Now I get it that you might desire to substitute those colors and pages with those of your own choosing, and that's perfectly fine, but you won't absorb the game the way its authors designed it. You'd just catch some strange reflection in the corner of your eye/ear/mind, that is of your own doing. And I wager it'd be...different. Hm, I must try playing a solely audio game.

When i give it my best, and the game just runs over me. Female game characters who act like males, only difference in that they have this nicely shaped body armor that reveals more than it should protect. People who play games just because it's trendy.
