Wii U would require an unprecedented change in its fortunes to top 50 million. At this point it would do well to top GCN numbers.

We'll see with XBONE, but it's definitely tracking far, far behind PS4 in pre-orders so far, so I'd love to see how those analysts expect for the gap to be that small (and the sales to be that small) when PS4 had already topped 1 million pre-orders nearly a month ago.

If you say so, but I'm not sure that I would consider Call of Duty representative of what any hardware is capable of doing, doubly so when it's being developed as a cross-gen launch title.

Naughty Dog by miles over Rockstar IMO. I bought GTA IV and if that is at all representative of the quality of their work then no thank you.

If only I had plans to buy the Wii U then I probably would. Did it for LoS, but I don't see the point when I doubt I'll ever play the thing (at least not within the next 1-2 years).

Atmospheric effect +GIF compression artifacts. The game looks good and much less aliasing than what we've previous seen from it, but it's a forgivable offense to have trouble telling it.

How about we wait for all the consoles to launch until we start making "Top x" lists about games? We're talking games at most a year out, how many of those do people actually care about by the end of any given generation?

The shots of the XBONE internals showed there was a lot of unused space left over in the casing and that their cooling solution is really simple. It's probably a cost-cutting measure.

Ehh, I could at least make a case for Ryse. If nothing else the theme and setting hasn't been done to death like a lot of other ones they could have picked and Rome has a certain pull with people.

Name-dropping Peggle 2 (which will be on everything up to and including feature phones unless Microsoft funds it entirely) just erased any doubt that I was dealing with a thinly veiled press release.
