Nintendo should've definitely joined the mobile gaming market like 7 years ago. forgive them for they know not what they're doing….

thanatos2k, it would be like the same "dicks in textures" kind of thing, which is, um, immoral but not necessarily illegal.

in any case, it wouldn't be less illegal than the pirated copies of any game already is… and also in any case, it sucks to be the creator of something, to hold the IP of something, not only in game development, but music, videos, etc… it's always a (inner) battle like you're alone against ships of pirates...

@Gelugon_baat: it's not only them that prevent children from dying, Fallout 3-4 also have children that cannot die, GTAIV made fun of the fact the city had no children (those school buses lined up in an abandoned playground and stuff like that), etc

maybe it's an annoying ESRB/global censorship that impose this on devs in general, not to get an AO rating or something...

the only case that children dying is acceptable (according to the boards, I think) is when it's story-related, like in The Last Of Us, or Heavy Rain, you get the idea… but not when the player chooses to do so

is this something like, uh.. a platform version of The Division + Fallout + Don't Starve + Valiant Hearts?! at least it looks like it, never payed much attention to it, but I'm gonna grab this thing (on sale/GwG/PS+ free game, whichever comes first)

@pspearman: you'd be surprised on how much people pay for digital green gems/money for those farm-clash games… why not support a dev, respect his work and have fun?!

if you don't like the genre, skip it all together (speaking to the general void of audience, not particularly to you)

should have made his own DRM, like a virus/worm/trojan included in the game's code, only to be dormant when activated and checked online. I dunno, something like that… or at least to have some doors open so he could track them down and spy on the pirates. then again, after all the coping with Braid's bashing by ignorant, maybe he's just a gullible dev, not a pretentious hacker anyway...
