Fanboys aren't the majority in real life, only on game forums.

Why would anyone who comes home from work, school or anything of that matter want to come home and sit up on a desk.

Consoles are those throw back devices,with a console if you have a girlfriend you can sit on the couch pop in some game or watch movies with ease.

I'm not sure if you guys are aware but most people who play games are casual.

Nobody outside of these forums really cares that PC is stronger as long as they play what counts, THE GAMES.

PC gaming biggest advantage from a hardware standpoint is usually not really cared about since the majority of the market plays games for funs and not to boast about running Crysis 3 with everything maxed out.

Graphics on the X1/PS4 will actually be a huge visual increase to the majority of the market that doesn't follow games as we do, they haven't seen PC graphics nor do they really care since they at the end of the day they play the same game.

For the average person with a life and responsibilities consoles are that throw back device, for basement dwellers the PC is a lot more ideal.

What a lot of people fail to realize is that if PC was the only gaming device gaming as we know would be dead.

Consoles are what gaming needs to survive.

Plug and Play

Local Multiplayer

Small Form Factors

Nintendo/Microsoft/Sony

In other words consoles have the "It" factor.

Have friends? Simple slide your console into your bag and have a lan party or bring over a couple of controllers and play UFC, Madden, Halo, and such multiplayer games.

Have family, simple pop out some controllers and get gaming with ease.

PC doesn't have the "It" factor

Console gaming is a tradition, each new iteration of a console brings gaming to a whole new era and wave of people.

Console gaming has the "It" factor, its fun, simple, and gets the job done.

The most played game of all time has requirements that any PC can play.

How about you name some games that actually require good PCs and then compare the amount of players to that of consoles?

Also just because Steam has more accounts doesn't mean much, a lot of people have Steam but 0 games on the profile, a lot of people have multiple profiles, usually steam has around 4 million concurrent users but when you check the game activity its a lot less, number wise to that of the amount of "gamers online".

I'll say it again, remember a lot of people make Steam accounts but have 0 games for it.

So the average person should have to search for fixes instead of just popping their game in and playing in a snap?

PC gaming is niche because it's not plug and play, I know you guys will post LoL or SC2 charts but those don't require high end cards to play.

You and I both know any high end game thats multiplat sells way more on consoles, ease of use and less headaches is a factor.

When people come home from school or work (not sure if you do either) they don't want to deal with headaches, I mean just look at the complaint of these major new releases like CoD and BF.

These issues do not happen with the console version of these games.

BF4, CoD Ghost, Blacklist all ran fine on consoles from launch yet on PC the 67 pages worth of people in this thread have to wait who knows how long for fixes.

You know DICE is focused on making sure the PS4/X1 releases go smoothly before they work on the PC issues, PC gamers seem to be afterthoughts and are happy about it.

2 of the biggest shooters of the year launched in pretty unplayable states on PC.

These are the average lives of hermits when it comes to big releases. PC games are patched after release to playable but states but don't typically work well on release.

Steam Indie games are victim to this as well, look at the countless indie game forum on Steam and you"ll notice thousands of post of people complaining of unfinished and incomplete games.

Consoles have quality standards and PC does not.

PC Gaming isn't ready for mainstream and is not to be taken seriously, do not believe the hermits.

All herms have are graphics and the ability to brag about hardware no games use.

PC peasants clearly don't warrant the dev times of the developers hence these issues.
