Yes, it's the most confusing, hands down. However, I think they intended it to be that way. At the very least, you get the entire internet (guess what hashtag is the first trending topic in Twitter right now) wild mass guessing and talking about it.

I am. RB is the best party game IMO, and the Keyboard controller will add a new twist to those parties, no doubt.
Also RB 2 has the most awesome setlist a music game ever had, so i'm importing all the songs to RB3 as soon as a I get the game.
This happened to me yesterday (with Left4Dead, but the game isn't relevant here) and solved it very easily. No, I didn't buy a new Xbox :P
Why this happens: Because Microsoft writes poor error messages, or have a lazy exception handling policy. Either way, the error may pop up even still your game disc is new (my case).
What you should do: first, read this ms support article. It contains a list of possible solutions, check 'em all.
What I did: after reading that, I discovered that my USB drive (I don't have a hard drive) was the problem. I simply copied my Left4Dead saved game and contents to the MU(internal memory unit) and cleared the USB drive cache (a maintenance option available somewhere in System Settings)
After that, I could play L4D again with no problems :)
[QUOTE="El_Zo1212o"][QUOTE="DJ_Magneto"] Thank you. They cannot push Kinect to be a primary controller for the majority of games moving forward. They can't, because not everyone will buy it. They cannot alienate the majority of users that way. That's why the old idea that they use the HD-DVD add-on as a medium for games would never have worked. For that same reason. But also realize that the developers of the big games already understand that Kinect cannot replace the control schemes that we have in place for our controllers. Cliff Blezinski stated that while he was very impressed with the responsiveness of "Natal" he did not think that it would be appropriate for games like Gears of War. It just wouldn't work out. This is not to say that Kinect cannot be used in conjunction with our traditional controller as an OPTIONAL ENHANCEMENT to our mainstream games. And this is what I really want to see demonstrated. How is Kinect going to make our traditional games different or better? If they can prove this, then maybe Kinect will have a wider audience than the casual shovelware crowd.DJ_MagnetoThis is what I had been hoping for, but a Wii sports ripoff and a rafting game? These were presented as games, not simply tech demos. I had faith that even though it was a motion control system, that MS would at least have the integrity to avoid a blatant Wii ripoff. It turns out I was wrong there, but I'm hoping that time will tell a more interesting story than "2010 brought the announcement of a motion control system from Microsoft that never panned out." How could any form of motion control not be construed as some sort of rip off of the Wii? If anything PS3's move is more guilty of this with its controllers being almost exactly like the Wii remotes. But like we said earlier, we will get shovelware. It's inevitable. They need to give us things to use Kinect for, or there is no reason to buy it. But aside from games, I'm interested OS control. Navigating around the dashboard will be cool. I think Bill Gates mentioned that he eventually wanted to make Natal, Windows compatible. How that will work out will be interesting to see. But release the Natal API to freelance developers and let's see what kind of cool stuff they come up with. That's right. It's ultimately the developer's job to create new great experiencies with the Kinect. The thing it's getting a lot of flame right now (just like when the wii came out), but only time will tell if it's worth getting one or not. The shovelware will come first, because its easier to produce.
I had this very same problem when I first connected my 360 to the Internet, and I was not able to solve it. I had to create new Gametags (through GFWL no less) to import them into the console, losing some achievements/game saves in the process. Apparently the first accounts you create on your console are "offline accounts", not Silver ones.
BuryMe, were you able to upgrade your offline account into a Silver one?
I'm between Eternal Sonata and Gears of War 2 right now (i bought a 360 only recently :D, so I'll play the older games first)
[QUOTE="rcignoni"][QUOTE="chris3116"][QUOTE="rcignoni"][QUOTE="TAKE_IT_BACK"]I never quite understood how the co-op worked. Care to explain? My brother and i played that game for hours co-op... him Lloyd and me Genis... we never finished it but... good times:)
So yes, i'm buying this.

The co-op mode is only for the battles. The player 1 controls the character you select and 3 others follow you in the "map" world. In battle, there's 3 others people that can play with you.
Yeah, but how do you fight? I remember plugging in a controller, but I couldn't control anyone. If you're plugged into 2nd then the character you want to use has to be 2nd in the party and you go into their techs and change them from auto to manual.
If you are playing co-op with a magic user don't forget that you can choose the target of your spells only during the cast animation. Took me a while to figure that out .... :P
