@Strider8009 sluggish controls? In all honesty, RE6 has one of the most responsive controls if not on par with most third person shooters. I understand what you're saying about the campaigns and the non-sensical plot (which RE has never really been great at) but I completely disagree with what you said about the controls. If you take the time to learn it (I'm not saying you're bad at it), then you'll see that it was really well done and it's akin to the old play styles as well.

There's a few new (and some may call innovative) features incorporated into the game mechanics as well that you just don't see in modern TPS. Such as dodging in any direction, contextual and environmental melee, fast paced object interaction, body-specific hit boxes (Yes, Dead Space has them), a few other small features. I actually think, no believe, the cover system trumps that of Mass Effect.

Sluggish controls, compared to today's standard are more RE1-5; tank controls if you will. Which I am a big fan of regardless.

So when you say sluggish controls, I don't know what the hell you're talking about.

And I think you're missing the point of the award. It was for "sound editing", not the actual game itself or the cutscenes or whatever- "sound EDITING". Sorry if I sound a little rude, but there's a lot of misinterpretation that goes on in your part as well.

Kudos to the RE6 sound team for winning this award.
