If you use a Ps3 or 360 controller this game essentially becomes the console version with new additional content that is extremely fun to play.

I think it is deserving of a 9/10 easily.  Most of the user ratings are low due to the poor porting that was done, and complete inability to play the game with mouse and keyboard.  

its my favorite game on the console so far, just edging out MGS4. It is just such a well told high quality piece of gaming. The controls are very good, the enviroment is very lush and the characters are engaging.

The second game looks like its going to be great as well

5-10 mins is the norm for me.

Has to be Half Life 2 ep. 2. Talk about a cliff hanger. I can't think of an ending that makes me want to play the next game more than that does.

I use the HDMI out for visuals on my 22" monitor as well. I also run the optical out through my stereo for sound, granted my stereo has an optical input, i don't know about yours.

current ps3's do not play ps2 games

i have silver so i can download demo's and DLC if needed. I don't play games online though. I can't stand the online community. Single player games is all i touch now.

oblivion>all other games>dirt>lint in between my toes>fallout 3.

if you are looking for just headphones with wireless surround sound you can find multiple brands but look to dish out anywhere from $150-500.

As far as wireless headsets? i haven't found any with full surround, but if you guys find some please let me know.

I agree. I do personally consider oblivion one of my favorite games of all time. After that there isn't a single rpg on the system that i enjoy. I was looking forward to dragon age, but then i saw the gameplay vids and was disgusted.

Yes ps3 is starved for rpgs good or bad. There is no denying that.
