I realise that this topic is almost one year old by now, but this information might still come in handy to someone else out there. European games often come with multiple languages on the disc and will automatically play in whatever language you've picked for your actual PS3 system, and if no translation is available it will just pick the English version for you. This is also how your trophy list is handled. Contrary to popular belief, you're not stuck with this language. European games only have one set of trophies, so what ever language they are displayed in is only a matter of personal settings. Let's say your console is set to Norwegian and mine to English, then you will see all of my trophies that have a Norwegian translation in Norwegian, even though I see them in English on my system. Likewise, I see your trophies listed in English. In other words, changing the language in which your trophies are displayed is rather meaningless. However, you probably still want to change it for a much more important reason, which is to avoid bad dubs! Having your trophies displayed in English is just a bonus. So here's what you've got to do: 1) Change the language to English in your system settings 2) Create a new user on your PS3 system 3) Copy your save files to this new user, sync your trophies and make sure to write down the names of your friends 3) Delete the old user 4) Sign in with your existing PSN account with the new user 5) Sync your trophies and they will now appear in English, as will any game that you play through this user Same method obviously works if you want to change back into your native tongue, or any other language for that matter.

It's not really a proper ending. It's a clifhange, which sucks.

Anyway, I believe that Serah is dead, Etro is dead, Caius is alive and free from his curse, Noel is alive and did not become the next guardian (his will was too strong, plus Etro is dead and can no longer give him the task anyway) and Lightning has turnedh erself into a crystal to protect the will of Etro. It's all one big mess, really. What happens now? Noel and the male heroes of XIII are still alive to kick som butt. How does Yeul feel about the whole situation and can she do something about it? Why does Caius still seem to be evil despite having saved Yeul? Will Lightning kick his ass? Is it possible to change history or is it forever doomed to be trapped in one single moment where everything is contant?

I don't think they will be able to make another game and still make it feel totally fresh, so I'm really hoping for an Advent Children-ish movie to conclude the entire story.

I read somewhere that to get five stars after a battle you have to finish it within a set amount of time. Is that true? So none of the actions you take in the actual battle matters as long as you win that battle within the given time limit? I'm asking because I'm about to go up against a certain boss battle in the final dungeon for which I will be rewarded a trophy if I can get a five star ranking for it. In other words, all I need to do is to keep track of the time right and I will be sure to get the trophy regardless of how I win the fight as long as it's in under 5:58?

Why not? You don't have to get them, but they will always be there if you want to give it a go sometime.

I personally don't care that much for trophies, but I don't hate them. Not all of them, anyway. I strongly dislike the ones that require online play to get, as they will eventually become impossible to obtain once the servers go down. But offline trophies are a nice addition to any game. I'm mostly annoyed with the concept of DLC. These days, developers even announce it before a game is even relased. They used to put out finished games and then if the demand was high enough, they'd put some more love into the project and create expansion discs worth buying. I really wish they would at least release all paid DLC on expansion discs as well.

I still like the company. Their support for the PSP has been amazing. They also released quite a lot of nice games for the DS. I even liked Final Fantasy XIII. I'm just not very happy with how they're milking the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The story has turned into some really bad and convoluted fan fiction at this point. I like Nomura's artwork, but his storytelling skills are non-existent. I liked the first one, but after that I've mainly been playing the games for a) the gameplay and 2) the Disney worlds because they let me relive my childhood memories.

However, my biggest gripe with Kingdom Hearts is how they are releasing a different game for each and every console there is. If you want to go multi, then do it properly and release the same titles for all consoles.

What an utter disappointment! Not only do they celebrate this occasion with a bundle containing the two worst games in the series, but they're exactly the same versions of them that most fans already own. They could at least have remade them. I don't believe it would have been that difficult to just up the resolution of the graphics and adjust the screen ratio to fit the 3DS, as those games were most likely made in higher quality only to be compressed to death in order to fit on a DS cartridge. That would at least have been somewhat of a treat.

Like everyone else, I'd rather have HD versions of KHI and KHII instead. I'd also like to have a HD version of Birth by Sleep, which in my opinion is by far the best game in the series so far.

It's just the way you wrote "crappy for you, maybe". Sounds like a slightly bitter comment, but it's hard to tell what people mean sometimes when it comes to writing things in plain text, so I apologise if mis-interpreted you.

@enz2 - but trophies don't depend on save files. If you delete one, your trophies will still be there and you will still be able to obtain the missing ones if you start over on a new save file later on. Let's say you get one from simply playing an online match, but didn't do it on your old save file. You can still get it on a new one. If another one is gotten from unlocking all secrets and you managed to unlock all but one, then you simply have a lot of things that you must re-do to get there, but you didn't screw yourself by deleting the old save file.

@Gxgear - there's no need to be so snarky.
