For most of us, we grew up with nintendo but alas when the love is gone..move on. Same goes for those of us who played from the NES and stuck with it up until the Gamecube when it wasn't doing so well comparied to the rival consoles. If the wii is doing well we should be proud that this company is alive and doing extremly well if the games aren't appealing to you because it's too different then fine pick up a 360 which is what i did and i don't regret it either. Nintendo is going to do what they did to most of us ages ago, create a young fanbase and ride that wave for the next fifteen or more years because these young kids who get the wii are going to love nintendo until they grow out of it which won't be for the next 10 or more years. I personally thought that nintendo was going to colapse after the wii because it didn't appeal to most of the gamers who grew up with it, we can't play mario & friends forever (most of us can't) but it suprised most of us. Nintendo has moved on to the new generation and for those of us who are tired of it, we should move on to. and if you don't like it tough luck then.
Also i can see why people don't like the wii. you need to play the wii with people that's what makes it shine, if you play alone it gets old fast. Now not all of us have siblings who will play on a regular basis or friends who will do the same either that's why the PS3 or 360 is the better choice for that case plently of great single player games that are good the wii just caters to a different audience and i guess we are too old school for that stuff....
Aw man Paracite Eve 1 and 2 was creepy..i'd love to play that game again now that i'm much older than the last time i played it.. also dino crisis so yeah those three are good choices....

Yea i bought the console and everything for only 12.00 USD I'd be crazy to pass up a deal like that.
Fellas this is a given. If you have money to spend but not a lot then grab a gamecube..there were plenty of great games for this system. Also since most of the retail stores are focusing on the next-gen consoles you can get a gamecube and all it's games really cheap. So just go and get one.
I had recently bought a gamecube over ebay for around $12.00 US i'm glad i did because i'm getting bored of my ps2 and xbox. However i can't seem to find anything gamecube related any more (ie controllers, memory cards etc) and even the games are getting harder to find. None the less, I still plan on looking for all my desired games ( metroid prime 1&2, tales of symphonia, SSBM, Pokemon XD, mario kart, mario tennis, the three zelda games, fire emblem, viewtiful Joe 1&2, and more.) Does anyone have other games they'd like to suggest? Cuz i plan to grab them all before they completely dissappear!
