[QUOTE="espoac"]Net income does not equal direct profit.
thinicer

Uhhhhhh....yes it does, dude. Net Income is commonly called "The bottom line." It is what remains after subtracting all the costs (namely, business, depreciation, interest, and taxes) from a company’s revenues. It is also called earnings or net profit.

Did you ever take an Accounting course?

Lmao... nice ownage.

I am going to try and go out in a limb here but, i really think PC gamers are taking alot of the X360's and even PS3's sales. PC gaming is booming.

this is without doubt one of the dumbest arguments I have ever read. HDTV's are in the house as an entertainment system. NOBODY goes into a store and says I will take that PS3 and btw THAT 42 plasma too. How many people in a queue to get a launch day console did anyone see walk home with a 60 inch plasma tucked under their arms too? Consoles are designed to be used on existing displays in your home. AND this is the bit that gets my goat, then the PC fans brag that they can hook up their rigs to a HDTV for console like play. Well you cant have your cake and eat it on that one boys. By your own accountancy if you hook that vista rig into your HDTV you just better slap the price of that TV onto your PC set up cost .orangeonxbox
very good point

[QUOTE="asmallchild"]1) They're not trying to rip anybody off. They were embroiled in a lawsuit and unable to put the feature in at launch. 2) Your buddy is stupid. Two controllers should equal $100. If he insists on paying $200, I have 2 controllers to sell him. I'll tell you who will be sick. Xbox360 fans who want the latest, greatest piece of hardware (like yours truly) on the Zepyhr's launch day.

is there a launch day for zepyhr? btw, i think rumble is geat for the ps3 controller.

like ibuypower.com? theres still an bootup period, you still need to install things and find folders, you still need to maintain. its more involved than a console. now granted im totally with you, but its just cuz i really enjoy PC gaming and building.

[QUOTE="2scoopsofempty"][QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="2scoopsofempty"]

just face it. MOST people just want to plug their Xbox/PS3/Wii into a wall, hit power and play. Dont have to deal with drivers, ativirus messing things up, dissabling this, opening that, keeping punkbuster up to date, defragmenting your harddrive, having to keep games up to date cuz they get patched every other week ect ect.

Im a PC gamer myself, i love everything that goes along with it. but you cant beat relaxing on a couch or bed with a cupple beers just playing a couple rounds of GRAW2, talk smack over XBL.

Vandalvideo

You can buy standardized PCs that are plug in play and just plug right into the wall and hit the power and play button.

but why dude. why not just buy a dee dee dee CONSOLE.  Building a rig is half the fun, cirtain games like BF2 just need to be played on PC. . for everything else theres my 360.

For one huge reason; to dispel console fanboy miscocneptions. We can buy a PC that is, for all intents and purpsoes, a console.

however a PC's main purpose in life is not just for gaming. a GAMING console is. actually the PS3 is all messed up it doesnt know what it is. .. just remember HALO was not the First great FPS. for every halo on Xbox there are 5+ greater FPS's on PC.
