I haven't needed a new computer in 5 years, but my Dell laptop is lacking in preformance now for what I need it to do. Basically, its not a laptop anymore since the screen has died and the battery life is awful to boot. So here it sits on ym desk with a monitor hooked up to it.

I need a new laptop that has battery life, durability, processing speed to complie and run large programs in Java, C, C++, and that can run Starfraft 2 with no Lag. It must be a 14inch or less screen.

I havn't kept up to date with the lastest processors or graphics cards so I am having an hard time understanging the processing speed of i3, i5 and i7 processors.

The Mac is the one I'm leanign towards most because of its battery life, durability, GarageBand, processing since I don't understand the other laptops processing speed much. However, I don't think the graphics card run SC2 that well :S:: What would you reccmmoned, what can you tell me about processors and such? Laptops I'm interested in:

This site is so screwed since their getting paid off on everythign they do now

1. Diablo II with LOD | Just straight out addicting fun. Theres nothing like leveling up a character and getting more powerful the more you play. And the item finding factor, plus all the good people you can meet up with who have the same addiction lol

2 .Starcraft with BW | A great game to play with friends or in general. Although I find this 100x more fun playingwith friends you know.

3. Sonic theHedgehog1 , 2 , 3 , Sonic andKnuckles | Sonic 2 being the first game I've ever played. and All four of those games in that series were superb.Nothin like a classic side scroller to keep you enterained for mindless hours on end.

Fighting game:

You know your too serious about games when you see a health bar above the person your about to fight.

Wow.. that was a waste of my time. Who the heck cares if they made great games or not, In yoursurperior opinion :roll: . Grow up.
