1994/1995 Every sheep and hedgehog laughed at the Playstation. They said it has no chance and it will flop. 5 years later, and bam! Playstation pwned both of them combined.
5 Years later PS2 arrives. Playstation 2 murders the dreamcast. Sheep still claim they will be able to kill the PS2 with the gamecube. Microsoft says they will also kill the PS2. 5 years later, PS2 pwns both of them combined.
Present time: Sheep still think they can pwn the PS Brand(You would think they would learn by now). Lemmings still think they can kill the PS Brand even though the first xbox flopped horribly.
5 years from now....Guess what will happen? Thats right. PS3 will pwn both combined. Why? Because they have the best strategy and its worked 2 times already. They have already started this strategy with the PS3.
Playstation strategy: Massive hype. Launch has terrible games. Launch has terrible hardware sales. Everyone agrees launch flops. No AAA games until 1 year later. Steady flow of AAA games all the time. Price drop. More AAA games. Slimline. More AAA game. etc.
The PS strategy PWNS. The PS3 will win in the long run. When it does, you sheep/lemmings are not allowed to hype your flop consoles ever again.
