Who cares who won. The ps2 was great. It still is. Cows, lemmings, and sheep are the most useless words. Why are some people obsessed with systems? I can understand someone being obsessed with a game but a system? Come on, without a game, a system is nothing.
So then there isnt a point of system wars right? I play games with friends or when Im bored and we play to enjoy them. So what does arguing and acting like little kids get us?
What do they get? Im sure they would get something fantastic for winning 2007. Wouldn't they? But why do people care who wins? They will still continue to make good games, great games, crappy games, and just games. So it doesnt really matter who wins because no matter who wins, they will make games for everyone to enjoy. People bragging, fanboys arguing, system wars, what has become of video gaming today? Why can't we just shut up, play the games, and enjoy the games instead of arguing and flaming other games. What do people really win out of winning arguments, predictions and bragging rights?
I think PS3 will takeover the market now that Europe in under the belt. My defence-stop reading my post and start reading the analyst reports in favor of PS3 (these guys are paid to do what they do unbiased). WII is a good attempt but it's not meant to last. I think particularly many people are ashamed to play the WII or they don't find it enjoyable. Notice how WII is not doing so hot in countries besides USA and Japan. Xbox 360 will produce good games but ultimately lose to PS3 because of one reason alone-Microsoft doesn't know how to cater to the casuals. Microsoft isn't able to grasp the gaming demographics like sony. 360s master game is GeOW. Sony's big game is gran turismo-something that appeals to alot of people not just the hardcore. Even now kids are playing GT4 in their dorm rooms all over America. Think about it. Recently, everybody has been bashing on the other system's faultiness. Cows seem to never give up the 360's early failure, and the lems have recently been bashing the PS3's failure rate. ( An.....extensive thread just came out showing how bad the PS3's survivability rate really is.) But the one thing you never hear about is the any Wiis dying. Sure, mine has frozen up on me a couple times, but it hasn't been permenantly damaged in any way. Compared to any other system's fatality rate, the Wii has been doing outstanding. Maybe it has to due with the Wiis relatively simple innards, or something of that matter. I think this is an accurate representation of the Wii vs. the other two. The Wii's mechanics may be worse by a lot, but what it does have, it is able to manage with what it has. hamstergeddon
