The game itself is a mix of enjoyment and frustration.

I've been playing PES since version 2006, always had fun with all modes and the game were balanced. But this year..

The good part of the game, as every year, are the countless patches that the PES community releases, so you can choose what are the teams you want in your game, as well other things like, balls, kits, logos..

Also, the only playable and enjoyable part of the game is against your friends or over the internet (despite the lag), you can do it, not bad at all.

I really loved the Master League option of the game, and i mean, LOVED. This year it's totally awkward, clumsy and frustrating unless you play it at level 3 or below.

Things to consider against the CPU: You will NEVER see a penalty, red card, yellow card (rare, but if you're lucky..), dribbling and doesn't matter if you have all the skill cards, ALL CPU defense players will run FASTER than your FASTER player (i simply don't get it) and one amazing thing, the HOME games will ALWAYS be tougher than AWAY games. And yes, there's more, but i'll stop here.

Things you'll ALWAYS see against the CPU: Your GK has a tendency to fumble often, key players from your team are always blue or purple on semifinals or finals, controls are very, very, very bad, in this case, you'll find yourself destroying the joystick trying to do what you want, most of your slide tackles results a straight red card in your face, and many more.

If you want to play with your friends or on-line, don't even blink, worth it. But if you don't, you'll be sorry, total unbalanced game, almost annoying and very frustrating.
