PES shows us that football is still a beautiful game.
PES is a fantastic game full of action, beautiful graphics and incredible gameplay. Obviously PES 09 is not the best in the series, however, when it was released it sure was amazing and perhaps a bit ahead of its time.
The atmosphere inside the game just draws you in until you are fully emerged in football action. Rarely do games engulf players in such beautiful and entertaining gameplay like Pro Evolution Soccer does.
In 2009 the AI improved greatly over the 2008 AI, however there are still slight problems with offside, though they can be easily fixed if a more creative formation is played. That is, you must be aware of how you make your formation for the matches.
You can't go wrong with this game. The master league will grow on you, drag you in and before you know it you will NEED to play this game daily because it is that addictive and fun-packed. Believe me when I say that PES does justice to what football is and what playing it feels like.
