PREDATOR: CONCRETE JUNGLE -Not absolutely fantastic, but it's also not horrible. One thing is certain-it's worth a look!

I'm a big fan of the Predator franchise. The movies, the comics, the merchandise-it's all gravy for my fanboy brain. But where this entertainment train jumps off the tracks and off the cliff is in the videogame sector. Keep in mind that this is my opinion, but I've never been wowed or pleasantly surprised by the multiple Aliens/Predator releases. This is the first game to have me securely fastened and along for the ride.

Now, for the likes and dislikes. This game is a bumpy ride. The graphics are subpar. Sure-it's awesome to switch the different visions up. Feel like I'm suited up in the alien tech that way. But to start to feel like I need an MIT degree to employ an attack is cantankerous. The controls are both intricate and irritating. Clunky mechanics slow down the pace of the fun & excitement a lot of the time.

When the kills are executed against the pitiful AI it's a great time, but I can't help but want to engage enemies that actually give a good fight back. That's what being a Predator is all about right? Establishing a worthy opponent, hunting down a nemesis, and reaffirming your proud warrior culture instincts in walking away a true victor out of a tremendously envigorating battle.

All in all, it's an interesting game with good intentions. The concepts are laid out clearly, but they don't blossom here. This franchise and all of it's virtues are eager to be exploited for the gaming masses. Perhaps make games based around the movies? That question probably sends chills down many gamers spines, but to get this creations' train on the right track in the videogame universe it's going to take a lot more than button mashing in order to see some fancy colors.
