I honestly don't know what people are complaining about.

I want to start off by getting this out in the way. DO NOT READ GAMESPOT'S REVIEW OF THIS GAME, because from what they have said, it almost seems like they haven't bothered to play the game. P:CJ starts of in the year 1930, after a revelation that causes the predator to flee (which is explained later in the game). The first level is mostly just abit of a way to get a feel for the game. Now, as the predator is fleeing back to his ship for god knows why, a giant explosion causes him to fall through the the floor, failing of his fleeing. In classic predator style, he detonates his ship which causes an explosion that obliterates the city. Through some fluke, the predator survives (aswell as the games main baddy... some how [although the plausable answer is that if the predator was far enough away and with all that building and crap covering him, the baddy should of been able too survive aswell]). Now, after this, he is disgraced and exiled for 100 years. In the year 2030, the predators come back for him in need of assistance. It appears that the technology Scarface (yes, that is the predator in questions name, and for good reason) dropped in his hast all those years ago has been taken by the humans and mass produced. Now Scarface has to fix it by taking out all those who use his tech for violence, which in turn, is the all the cities gangs.

The story itself is indullging and ominous and DOES make sense for all the idiots whom are too brain dead to figure out that Scarface is killing gangs to regain his lost honour. It is narrated by the cityies central "computer" if it so can be called. I think the story starts out alittle thin, but as you play on, you can't help but get into it. The gameplay is the games strong suit however. I mean DAMN, it gets better with every level aswell as more fun. You could start out by hating the game but you will soon get pulled into it. The weapons are pretty good, all the old predator classics, which can all be upgraded. It gets even more fun after you unlock all the weapons and upgrades, but the best is how Scarface systemacically takes down the gangs, and then, the whole damn orgnization, it almost feels like your doing actually the one kicking their asses. With 27 action-filled missions, this is sure to keep you going, especially to go back to get all the upgrades. Ther are also ritual challenges, which are pretty much just time trials.

Graphically there isn't anything massivly impressive. I mean there not great, but there not terrible. They are a little chunky here and there but hell, beggers can't be chosers. Sound wise, its pretty 'sound'. Nice sound on the firearms, the predator running and pretty much everything, aswell as the predators roar. Probably the worst feature is the camera, which isn't terrible awful, I mean, you get used to it pretty quickly. Now a common complaint is that it is inverted. BUT, (for the stupid **** who do complain about it) if you press the magic 'start' button, you can change it, for both the 1st and 3rd person mode. And yes, it is backwards compatible.

The good: Great gameplay, good long story, compelling story, lots of gore and the extras, backwards compatible.

The bad: Mediocre graphics, jutty camera.

So, if you like predator, GET THIS GAME. If you like blood and action, get this. If you want a thrill, then get it, is it is now pretty damn cheap.
