As much as I have learned to expect from Ascaron!

Wow I found this game so much like Sid Meiers pirates... If your shallow and only enjoy the eye candy then Sid's Pirates is for you.. but if you like alot of meat behind the game you will love Port Royale 2! I just keep wishing they would add all the features of patrician III to this series and this would make the perfect pirate / micro manage games on the market today!! If you like to manage supply and demand through serious advance trading I would recommend Patrician III. Which is from the same software dev company, Ascaron. Port Royale 2 has more action through combat. Though they have a trade system, it is dummied down compared to Patrician III.
