    Hmmmm i dont jnow what format to get it on now, cause the pc version makjes it looks alot easier, but then, its a rpg, which deffo means ps3...damn you gamespot for making my choice hard

    i have the elder scrolls 4 -love it ...over 400 hours on it and still not done.
    im picking this up tomorrow morning as well as demon's souls and fallout 3 goty(i know ,ive heard about all the problems,but screw it maybe i'll get lucky)of course i wont have much money for the next 6 months. but ill have shiit to do,lol

    Combat looks bad, really bad, just keep hitting the attack button until one of you drop.

    The combat isn't turned based, but it can be complex. Its inspired largly by the Baldur's Gate style of D&D combat. It actually works quite well, but the system is deep and can be intimidating at first. If you liked playing BD and Diablo (back in the day) you'll like this.

    combat looks kinda bad and generic, but the story/characters are probably the more notable draws for this game. Cool box art though.

    I'm sure this game is amazing, but it doesn't look like the kind of game I'd personally enjoy. I love the expansive world and everything, but the combat isn't my kind of combat. It's always nice to see great games like this come out though, even if I wouldn't like it too much myself.

    I was thinking of getting this game after xmas but with a limited amount of cash I wasn't too sure about this game, now I've seen it I'm going to have a headache trying to decide what to get, this looks so good. I think I might get it :S yeh!

    Man! ya know it's gotta be good when a reviewer says maybe 2 things wrong with the game, then quickly tries to get you to forget about it. This is DEFINETLY a pick-me-up!!!

    @monchoago: The only smart thing you said in your 3 comments was that this game has nothing to do with Fallout 3 or Oblivion. That's true. And that's because they're not even from the same genre. F3 and ES4:O are Action-based games, while Dragon Age Origins is what people call a "pure" RPG (well, as "pure" as you can make them on a computer/console, anyway).

    @mostafa94 Depends, assassins creed 2 is really good game but not very long, it took me about 2 days to fully beat it including getting all collectibles. My advice would be rent assassins creed 2 and buy dragons age new since its same price at gamestop used w/ the deals going on. Or rent both either way works.

    Wait, out of the consoles hes giving the upper edge to the ps3 because it looks better?! Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of the PS3 but its stupid to choose graphics over performance.

    This is an awesome game. I like how you have a party that you play with and not just by yourself. You actually start feeling for them lol.

    Hmm it looks cool, and i love the fantasy style games. However im not really into this style of gameplay, i prefer more fast pace action, so i don't think ill play this game, besides there is so many games i want to get i want be able to play them all so i have to be picky lol.

    You'll get a way better experience from the PC version than you do from the Console version. Think of playing WoW on Xbox or PS...that would be a horrible experience...gameplay is pretty much the same. As in Keybinds and clicking skills for quick access.
