Patapon for me was a quite an innovative game.

In the beginning the game literally made fun of me because I could not keep up with the beat. Four simple button combinations can be very hard at times.

This game despite its simple appearance has quite some depth to it. With all that depth there is also a lot of grind.

Bosses can be hard at times, but leveling up helps. The problem is the leveling up part of it. It takes time and patience.

Patapon allows a lot of time of game play, however there is no real replay value. The reason for no replay value is becuase you have to do some quests over and over again to help you in the future of the game.

I recommend this game for all those who have a PsP and want several hours of game play. A player can pull out over 20 hours of game play.
