Quite entertaining.

Probably you played it at the arcade, with the bike handle controller. Maybe you played it on the NES, or even the SNES; If you did, then you know what to expect. The reactions of all these classic arcade releases is kind of mixed. As the gamespot reviewer whines about this game not getting a facelift a lot of people would complain if the original arcade experience was tainted with cosmetic enhancements such as a new audio track or "enhanced" graphics.
Face it, our earliest memories are in how these games looked and sounded; do you remember the phrase; "Big money. Big prizes. I love it!"
If someone re-recorded it for the release on live arcade it would feel as if something was lost. Like when the original Star Wars trilogy was released with the extra scenes, people hated it because they had a different version in their memories and didnt want anybody to change them. So this game, as all arcade games, is all about replay value (dont expect a 5 hour campaign mode), and fortunately its quite fun and challenging.

So, this wasnt a very deep review, but probably you have played this game, and if dont, you may be too young and shun the graphics and sound, but you should download the game and I assure you will have great fun.
