Needs some work but other than that the game is awesome!

User Rating: 8.7 | Mario Story N64
Story: Once again Bowser has kidnapped the Princess and Mario must rescue her and defeat Bowser. Same old story and same old plot , right? WRONG! Bowser has stolen the star rod which makes the posseser's dreams come true. In other words, NOW BOWSER'S INVINCIBLE! To make matters worse the seven Star Spirits who are the only beings that can conteract the star rod's power, are trapped in cards. Also he cards are carefully gaurded by the 7 most powerful beings (next to Bowser) in the Mushroom Kingdom! However with new abilities and allies at every corner, Mario may be able to rescue the star spirits, beat Bowser and his allies and put peace in the Kingdom once again.

Gameplay: 9/10 In my opinion this game makes astonishing use of the N64 controller abilities. However by looking at what would have been possible by making the controls for using items and switching allies different, the paper features of the sequal could have been used. After all, there isn't much use of the paper in the game which is disappointing. Still without that the gameplay still deserves two thumbs up.

Graphics: 10/10 With great use of paper and 3d objects at every turn, the graphics in the game make a artist video gamer's dreams come true.

Sound: 10/10 With real covincing sound at every bit of the game it's easy to see why I made my choice.

Value: 9/10 With a great price to pay for the game and such rare sightings of the game in stores this game is worth quite a bundle.

Reviewer's tilt: 7/10 With plenty of great suprises, funny moments, plenty of things to collect and challenging puzzles and battles, this game is pretty awesome. But after you're done the game there isn't anything else to do. I mean scince you just beat a 40 hour game you'd wouldn't have a desire to play it again. So it's back on the shelf for a while after you're done.

Overall Paper Mario is a great game and is definately worth playing and buying. Just be prepared for a good few weeks of waiting before wanting to play this again.
