This is not the way of the ninja.

User Rating: 7.5 | Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 PS3
Ninja Gaiden sigma 2 for the Ps3 version of the Xbox 360 game that came out a few years prior to this one. In the extra time Ninja Theory managed to make the game look a hell of a lot better plus add in 3 new chapters where you get to play with Ayane, from Dead or Alive, Momiji from the Nintendo DS NG and the return of Rachel from the previous Sigma and also a much welcomed multiplayer, where, allthough a bit laggy, does offer some great beat'em up entertainment for you and your online freinds. Unfortunately there is no option to play with a freind at home with a second controller. Also another unfortunate thing about Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is how easy it is. At the start of the game you only have two choices of difficulty: Acolyte or very easy and Warrior or still too easy. This is what really ruined the game for me, not being able to choose Master ninja from the get go, a difficulty setting only obtainable after having played through the game on Warrior. This does not give any replay value as in my opinion the devs have been extremely lazy with the level design compared to Sigma, with not a single puzzle in the whole game, boss fights are limited to just chipping away at them with no multiple hit points or anything so, unless you are really hard up for games to play and have to replay this one to death, there is hardly any reason to return after that first really easy playthrough. There are plenty of trophies, but also they feel tacked on and really time consuming. I shan't be platting this one that is for sure. Did Itagaki F this one up on purpose knowing that he was leaving?
