A very fun and addictive game. Easy to pick up and play.
The graphics are great for an n64 game, character models are like ps2 models. The replays are a good addition too. For a game of its age, it still plays great.
The commentary, (although repetitive) is fun and excitable. Some commentators in other sports can be rather boring, or to over the top. These commentators are amusing.
All the official teams and licences are in the game of course (ea always aquire the proper licenses).
A hilarious extra is sometimes during a game, you get a 1v1 fighting mode. Funnily enough, both players were sent off for fighting in one instance.
The contols work as you would expect for a hockey game. Simple but effective passing and shooting. While defending you have the tackles. And you can also spin around a bit.
If you are into retro sports games, this one is a must have.
