The game looks similar to NHL 13, which looks similar to all those of this generation, but it is not the point. The game feels like a perfected version of NHL 14. It is what a hockey sim should play like, you play like a goon, you're going to treated like a goon. Try and undress the D, keep your head up because you're getting knocked back on you ass. There are many reviews saying that this game is just a rehashed version of the game, which in some way it is, but the overall gameplay of NHL 14 (which a lot of people seem for forget makes a game great) is incredible. One touch dekes make it easy to undress the D if they are playing the puck, the goalies are no longer predictable where you can streak down the boards at full speed take a step inside and wrist it into the top corner. They took a great NHL game in 13 and brought it to the next level of realism, a game worthy of being the transition game between this generation and next.
