Xbox One's Ryse: Son of Rome runs at 900p
Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg says Ryse will run at 900p, but adds that Xbox One upscales all titles to 1080p.
Crytek's Xbox One launch title Ryse: Son of Rome runs natively at 900p as opposed to in full 1080p, Microsoft has confirmed.
Microsoft had previously said that Ryse ran in native 1080p, but executive Aaron Greenberg took to Twitter to clarify the situation: Ryse runs at native 900p, but the Xbox One will upscale it to 1080p.
Greenberg also reiterated that Forza Motorsport 5 will run in native 1080p.
"Update from team, Forza 5 is native @1080p, Ryse is native @900p, but Xbox One upscales all titles to 1080p & they look amazing," said Greenberg.
Crytek recently detailed Ryse's various combat methods, saying the game's fighting mechanics were "built to feel good."
Microsoft will release the Xbox One on November 22.
