Other announcements during the Nintendo Direct presentation included Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, a new DLC campaign for New Super Mario Bros. U focusing squarely on Luigi called New Super Luigi U., the release date for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and the unveiling of Donkey Kong Country Returns for the 3DS.
Mario Golf: World Tour will be the sixth Mario Golf game in a series that has been running since 1999, with previous titles appearing on the N64, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and GameCube. The last entry in the series, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, was released in 2003.
