BioWare teases next Mass Effect 3 DLC

All I have to say Is that joker Better not die!!!!! in this new DLC. I will lose it if he does!!!

Every day I check the web for any new news on the next Mass Effect 3 DL, yet there is no new Info. I don't know if they have like 8 writers on this DLC project maybe it's because of the ending, now they won't change it or make a new one, but they might add some closure in some form of a post-ending DLC, hopefully they wont screw this one up if it's that a big deal.

I think there should have been at least a possibility of a full-out happy ending. There was so much sadness and loss throughout the series (especially in the third game), that even with a full happy ending, the ending would've been bittersweet.

Another thing, why is it that a game all about making choices never seems to show you the consequences of your choice. The endings should be based off of everything you've done, not a last minute decision that overrides everything.

this DLC sucked. Corridor shooter. not enough story. Butchered an interesting character in Aria T'Loak - one-dimensional. Completely boring environments. Glitches. Insulting thing? cannot even visit afterlife again. oh and? bioware, dont bother with making a videogame out of mass effect EVER again, hand it over to a company that doesn't butcher series.

I hardly believe those against the endings were a minority. I myself was one of them who heavily criticized the ending (especially here on Gamespot). There were a lot of problems with the ending.WHY does the size of an army determine whether or not Shepard lives or dies? That doesn't make sense at all. Furthermore, why does Shepard die at all? Why couldn't there be a "happy ending" where they all regroup and rebuild together and he can be with his true love and at peace? This is not a matter of it making sense, but a matter of how limited and restricted fans were to make their own ending.WHY does every ending have the same cutscenes with only a slight color variation? Of course, we're led to assume: yes, you control the Reapers/yes, all organics and AI are one now/ yes, the Reapers are destroyed. But fans don't want to assume and imagien for themselves: they want to SEE IT.But I think my biggest pet peeve is why did this all happen at all? I've heard various stories: the original writer for 1 and 2 left, only a few select writers knew about the ending. It does't really matter. SOMEONE made the decision to not review that ending before sending the final product out. I can't imagine everyone in Bioware/EA sat down, saw that ending and went, "Yeah, that's going to be good." They had to know, regardless of how much sense it made, that it would SUCK. And that's exactly what happened: the ending was a colossol failure.But THEN, when you thought it was all over: they released DLC. The funny thing about the extended edition is that, while it was designed to explain the ending, all it really did was expalin why their ending sucked so much. Ok, the ending makes a littlemore sense now: that doesn't make it a good ending (revert to the last paragraph). Leviathan, the apparent creators of the Reapers came into play, and now there was a chance at deactivating Reaper after Reaper through the midns of these creatures. But they never showed up to fight apparently AND, when it becomes a dialogue option with the god-child (the only time it appears in the final mission) that little smart-a$$ son of b#$%h has an answer for that too, hence dismissing the whole point of the DLC alltogether...To date, Omega (despite not havig any impact on the ending other than being a number in your army) is the ONLY thing Mass Effect 3 related I have liked. Wasn't the best storyline, but at least it worked.Now they're making ANOTHER DLC and while I have some hope restored thanks to Omega, it's less than 50% anticipation.AND THEN they're going to make a Mass Effect 4!?!? Are you kidding me? Aside from the fact that they had the audacity to ask if fans preferred a sequel or a prequel (something they should be able to figure out on their own but can't because they KNOW they ruined the series all together), the whole idea is ridiculous. A prequel doesn't make sense because we all know what happens and ultimately that ruins the whole experience (especially because we all know the outcome is disappointing). A sequel is stupid because what villain, regardless of however many years later, is going to top the Reapers? Unless the villain's creators...oh wait, that's leviathan and I don't want to touch that topic again....I don't think you realize the gravity of how badly that ending ruined the series. It made everything such a disappointmnt. All those memorable characters, all those epic moments, it's all for nothing. There is no true triumph in the end.You claim the control/synthesis endings were indoctrination. But we all know that's not teue because Bioware dismissed the whole indoctrination theory. Which brings us back to what I was getting at in my original post. The indoctrination theory could have saved their lazy a$$es biug time and they chose to make their ending even worse than it was upon release.So when they ask about Mass Effect 4, I laugh and say make nothing. Forget about this series. Leave it alone. Let it be forgotten and die away in the pages of history of one of gaming's greatest failures. Make a new series all together.These "simpletons" and "retards" you speak of are not just whiners and complainers. These were fans who truly shared a love for this series that are upset and disappointed with this once proud and grand universe that has fallen at the hands of three distinct colors. When you learn of such a disappointment that definately could have been avoided, you lose respect for those responsible.That is the story of Mass Effect. This is now their legacy.

A proper expansion pack on disc is preferable to such a cacophony of DLC. 

my only issue with biowares DLC is theres r like 2gb in size yet Bethesda can get theirs with more content and gameplay down to 700 odd MB we dnt all have loads of HDD space ready to waste bioware get ur compression software looked at 

My problem with Mass Effect 3 is that they essentially forced a Paragon arc on Shepard. From the intro of the game, they blew it. When? the kid died, my Renegade Shepard wouldn't have navel gazed and looked bad. He would have been pissed off and throwing things. He wouldn't have been consumed by doubt and having bad dreams. He would have been aggressively going after the Reapers. The whole tone of Shepard's character in ME3 was forced and very unsatisfying; your choices didn't pay off

I finally finished classes and got a chance to try out the first 2 DLC and I have to say I love it. It made me fall in love with the game all over again. I am actually planning to replay the whole game one more time after I finish Omega, its that good.

Bioware, keep that good DLC a-coming

So, basically Bioware used a different cast of writters for each ME game, and now they use a different cast of writters for each DLC within the same game. That explains the unusual personality changes on some story elements from game to game. 

Someone please stop them. It will most likely be mediocre and it will definitely be overpriced.

Why do people like mass effect 3 its nothing ,but a shooter with rpg elements !

Like all the other DLC is is probably going to be something that was obviously cut from the original game and would have made the original ending better in the first place.  Another thing I hate about the Mass Effect 3 DLC is that since there is no post game save and after finishing the game your auto save starts back after finishing the Illusive mans base you couldn't play any of the DLC unless you made a save file before going to his base.

I love the Mass Effect series but DOWN WITH ALL DLC! I am the only one fed up with having to keep revisiting games every couple of months?

Where have all the proper content heavy expansions gone? Most games don't get proper expansions anymore. I'd rather have all the planned DLC released when it's ALL finished and packaged together and accessible in one hefty expansion. I'm happy to wait for a BIG content hit instead of small content that trickles in over time.
