EA has unveiled the first glimpse of a new Star Wars Battlefront game.
DICE is confirmed to be developing the game, with EA recently opening its DICE LA studio--filled with previous Danger Close staff--to handle development.
The Battlefront series spawned two games back in 2004 and 2005, with three more spin-offs later released on handheld and mobile. The series traditionally allowed for first- and third-person battles set in the Star Wars universe.
No platforms or release dates were mentioned, nor was any game footage shown. The game was announced with a brief CGI clip showing an AT-AT.
EA signed a multiyear deal with Disney at the start of May to make "core" Star Wars titles.
