LOS ANGELES--While Sony has offered Move-compatible features for traditional games like SOCOM 4 and Killzone 3, the PlayStation maker has created few core game experiences built from the ground up for the motion-sensing controller. At its E3 media briefing today, the company featured one such title in Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest.

As the name implies, Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest is built from the start with the Move in mind.

An on-rails shooter featuring a skeletal protagonist, Deadmund's Quest has players taking on hordes of undead enemies in a fantasy universe with a small arsenal, including a sword and shield, bow and arrows, and throwing stars. Players will automatically switch among the three, depending on which gesture they use to attack enemies, but the weapons have their uses for puzzle-solving that leads to branching levels as well.

Deadmund's Quest is set for release this fall. For more Move-related news from Sony's media briefing, check out GameSpot's live blog of the entire proceedings.
