Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced today it would be adding one more color to Japan's growing rainbow, saying that a limited-edition "matte bronze" PSP Slim will be available on April 24 for ¥23,800 (£115, $228). The new colour will come bundled with a pouch, hand strap, cloth, 32MB Memory Stick Duo, and D-Terminal AV cable.

SCEJ also launched an AV cradle, designed for those who use the PSP's TV output frequently. Also available on April 24, the cradle charges a PSP and comes bundled with a remote control. The new peripheral will sell for ¥4,800 (£23, $46)--or ¥6,500 (£31, $62) with a D-terminal AV cable--and is compatible with the PSP Slim.

SCEJ also confirmed a new microphone for the PSP today. Originally slated for January, the microphone will be available on March 19 in single- and double-microphone packs for ¥2,500 (£12, $24) and ¥4,000 (£19, $38), respectively. The microphone will support both the original PSP and Sony's redesigned PSP Slim, with Slim owners also able to use the microphone with the Skype Internet phone service.
