According to the company's Web site, the new "Mint Green" portable, which will be released on February 28 in Japan only, is for the benefit of its female users (along with men who like pastel colours).

The Blume series (presumably as in, "in bloom") of colours includes pink, lilac, and pastel blue as well as the new green shade, alongside the three standard colours of the PSP Slim currently available in Japan--black, white, and silver.

The "Mint Green" PSP will cost ¥19,800 (approx $181)--the same as a regular PSP Slim. Unsurprisingly, Sony Europe told GameSpot that there are no current plans to release the new colour over here.
