An instant classic!

Reviews are a funny thing. Sometimes, I will play a game and think it's not that good (like Bioshock), and yet people think it's great. On the other hand, I can think a game is great (like NCAA Football 10), and then I read how people don't think much of it. Oh, well, that's just the way it is, I guess!
Personally, I think NCAA Football 10 is easily the best game in the series, and proves to me that EA cares about the quality of it's games.
Now understand something. I have been extremely critical of EA in the past. After all, I 'm a 2k sports guy! But anyone who has played NCAA 09 will be able to see the improvements.
Every critic review that I've seen has stated that the graphics are about the same. Not true. The stadiums are finally completely authentic. I'm a fan of Louisiana Lafayette, one of the worst teams in the game, and for the first time their stadium is completely accurate. Everything is sharp. Every detail is there. The player models, admittedly , do look the same. But the lighting is incredible. You will see the lighting change from the first half to the second half. The grass looks beautiful. The rain and snow effects are finally realistic. And the animations...wow! Great animations!
The sound is basically unchanged from the previous games. The commentary has become a bit stale, but it's still solid.
The gameplay is almost perfect. Everything that was wrong with 09 has been fixed. No more rubberband interceptions. No more easy 75 runs every game. No more money plays. The realism is off the charts.
I hate to gush, but it's that great. I've purchased this franchise every year, and I've never been so overwhelmed.
Again, I must give credit to EA. They could have just repackaged last year's game with a few gimmicks (like they have done before). But they didn't. They strived to make a great college football game, and they have succeeded.
They've showed me that they care about the quality of their games.
The only "flaws" I can find about 10 is it's really difficult to complete out patterns and comeback patterns. But I can live with that.
I would encourage everyone that thinks NCAA Football 10 is the same game as 09 to look again. It's not. This is a classic, and I hope more people come to see it's greatness. Congrats on a great game, EA Sports!!
