Not what i expected but still good

User Rating: 7.1 | Naruto: Narutimate Hero PS2
The Good
Easy to remember controls, Looks good and Fun Multiplayer

The Bad
Not enough characters, Requires hours upon hours to unlock everything

The story is a 12 year old boy Naruto and everyone hates him. He wants to prove his skills by becoming the best ninja in the village by becoming Hokage. Along the way he faces many different trials and one by one he gets people to acknowledge him.

Story mode features about 5-11 fights depending on which character you choose. The main thing that you spend your time on is the mission mode where you can spend hours upon hours getting the currency ryo which is what you use to buy stuff. The weird thing when you buy stuff is its a lucky dip thing, the more ryo you spend the higher the chance you won't have the idiot konohamaru laugh at you and get nothing. If you have the patience get the maximum ammount of ryo and clear the S rank missions. I have yet to do it.

Graphics are fairly decent for a anime fighting game and the techniques look appealing.

When fighting you can jump, Attack, use weapons and use jutsu's (equivalent to a special attack) to damage your opponent. Also you have support characters and they give you a variety of things including food pills, weapons and a support attack.

All in all this is a good kick off for the naruto ps2 games and will keep you entertained for about 10 hours.
