If your unfamiliar with the Naruto anime / manga then this game will tell you all you need to know. As the third of the 'Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm' series its the best of the series, with the great flow of the game there will be no question that you will be sucked in eventually. (If you like ninja games.) There will be no need to master each character, you just need to master the game itself. As this game may look complicated like just trying to master a combo its much simpler than that. The use of the B button is to attack, A to jump / dash, X to throw shuriken (weapons) and Y to power up. If you've never played then you'll settle in just fine. The story mode isn't as it use to be as now rather than having free movement you get put straight into battle which I think was a let down to the series. You will have the opportunity to play through each characters story line and once you've completed one of them a new story line will become available. This will also give you general info on the characters. There is a wide variety of characters to choose from including attack types, defence types and balance types for support. This game also includes younger and older versions of characters so be sure that you know which is which. The game's online features has well improved since its elders, with replays, a better connection and lots more collectible stuff. This game has shown how much better it is than its elders and it deserves the credit not just for itself but for also the anime / manga also. It deserves its 8.5 rating. This is just a personal review and what I think of it and generally its great for the fighting gamers out there.
