The pathetic story mode and the broken Substitutions makes "Generations" the weakest Naruto game to date.

User Rating: 5 | Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Storm Generation X360
"Generations" is basically an expansion pack for full retail price. They added new animated sequences to punctuate the story mode chapters, but that's hardly an excuse to justify paying $60 for it, considering how extensive and impressive the story mode was in "Ultimate Ninja Storm 2". The entire story mode will take you 2 hours, tops. And the new Substitution system leaves you powerless half the time, because you have no way of avoiding or surviving until you're able to Substitute again (you can't control the meter that's responsible for Substitutions, you have to just sit and wait until it fills up on its own, leading to a lot of cheap deaths).

"Ultimate Ninja Storm: Generations" has a fantastic roster, but not nearly good enough for $60, especially when the combat is now broken and the story mode is like watching a rated R film on a public station; ie, what's the point?
