Before you buy Myst IV -Revelation for XBox, take time to read GameSpot's official review. This is a candid and extremely accurate depiction of the gameplay and possible flaws. For example, the hesitation you feel at every step of the (literal steps) is enough to make an impatient person want to throw the controller. However, if you're an avid puzzler then you probably won't mind the wait. The level of difficulty in the puzzles themselves was surprisingly hard, from the very beginning - simply understanding what to do first can be confusing. But, once you begin to get a feel for how the game play moves, it's very challenging and enjoyable.
I recommend this game for serious puzzle-gamers, and for anyone who is tired of all the "magic" and "gore" associated with the more popular games today.
