After the release of the first three MK games (well 4 because of UMK 3) Midway decided to make one final game before MK went into 3-D arenas. while this game is okay, it's not really that great. It has its strong points like any game, but I'd stick to the other MK games. The gameplay is a combination of the fist 3 games. It has all of the charectars, and battlegrounds used in the previous games. The acctual gameplay however is quite a bite harder. When I was playing on very easy, I could usually get past the first opponent, but after that it got really hard. I needed alot of skill and a bit of luck to get past the next opponents. The reason the game was so hard was because your opponents would attack you faster than a normal person could push the buttons. It was also annoying because the computer would always do it in exactly the same way. The graphics are pretty good. While they aren't anything amazing, the game kept a solid framerate, and you could clearly see every thing. They're nothing special, but they're still above average. The sound is my favourite part of the game. Each battleground has it's own background music, and all of the sound effects sound perfect. All told, MK Trillogy is a decent fighting game, but if you already have the first ones, I wouldn't suggest you get this one.
