Well Done Handheld Port of MKII

User Rating: 8.7 | Mortal Kombat II: Kyuukyoku Shinken GB
Mortal Kombat II is a highly enjoyable arcade game, and this GameBoy port is also pretty good. Although they left out the good ones like Raiden, and only had 8 fighter available, and only two stages to fight on, it's still pretty fun. The stage designs (The Kombat Tomb and the Pit II) sort of live up to their original arcade designs (I don't remember seeing Blaze on the back of the Pit II bridge).

The gameplay is somewhat easier than the arcade version, but is a lot slower. The music is okay, not bad for a GameBoy game. Overall, it's an old-school port that gamers should enjoy on their GameBoy and it will last.
