Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix! Move on, or Move OVER!

User Rating: 9.8 | Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix (Platinum Hits) XBOX
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix, the supercharged version of the 2005 Platinum Hit on XBox, is the fastest street racing game available.

You begin your career with $22,000 and no street cred. You purchase a vehicle, add a few upgrades and hit the streets. Right away, hookmen like Vanessa, Carlos, Bishop and Phil challenge you. For the most part, you'll race Checkpoint style races, where arrows floating in the street will guide you through the race route but leave it up to you how you decide to get there. As you beat hookmen, you unlock car/bike club tournaments and aftermarket performance parts. If you enter and win a tournament, you'll unlock a new vehicle to add to your garage!

As you progress through your career in San Diego, you'll unlock the tournaments for import tuners, muscle cars, luxury sedans and choppers. After you've built your reputation on beating all the San Diego hookmen, you'll unlock Atlanta. Then, after you've beaten all the Atlanta hookmen, you'll unlock Detroit. Along the way, you'll discover that in order to continue to win you'll need to learn how to use Special Moves like Agro, Roar and Zone. In most cases, you'll be racing against faster vehicles with better handling, so you'll need every advantage to balance the playing field. In Atlanta, you'll unlock the tournaments for superbikes and SUV/Trucks by defeating Vito and Dre respectively. As a need for a vehicle arises, so does a tournament with that vehicle as a prize. Example: when you defeat Vito, you are invited to compete in the Original Riders tournament (superbikes only), and at the same time the Hotlanta tournament becomes available with a hot Ducati SS1000 as a prize. Yes, that's a superbike.

Once you get to Detroit, the training wheels come off, and you are forced to turn it up a notch! This is where the weaker street racing gamer gives up and throws in the towel. In Detroit, you will face the toughest hookmen in the game including Kioshi, Ceasar and Angel. When you defeat them, you unlock the US Championship, the ultimate contest of racing skill.

All of the vehicles in MC3 Remix are licensed, as are the aftermarket parts. The cities contain real landmarks, the soundtrack is comprised of real songs from real artists, so if you're looking for an authentic game Remix will impress you with its attention to detail. Some of the songs might not be your style, and some of the vehicles might not be your cup of tea, but you will enjoy the speed this game simulates and be delighted the first time you come back from 5th place to somehow win the race!

Tokyo Challenge adds about 3-6 more hours to your career with crazy racing through the tightest streets you'll ever see! You'll blaze through buildings and over ramps, onto freeways and across bridges! The traffic is always in your way, and the police take no prisoners! Tokyo Challenge adds tournaments specific to every vehicle class (vehicles are grouped based on when they appear in the game, beginning with D Class which are available right out of the box, to C Class, B Class and finally A Class) and vehicle type (muscle car, luxury sedan, import tuner, chopper, etc.) If you've completed MC3: DUB Edition, you can begin Remix at 77%, and all of your vehicles will be available in your garage. You can store up to 30 vehicles (including duplicate vehicles you've customized) in your garage per career. Thus, if you need more than 30 vehicles at your disposal, you'll need to begin/complete another career. It should take you 18-20 hours to finish a career in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix.
