Aye boyee. This game'll make ya haht explode! Or something like that.
The gameplay is the best part of this game. Simply put: you blow stuff up. And blow it up you shall. With an aresenal of shotgun shells, vulcan bullets, cannon shells, missiles, and all of them combined, youre enemies are peeons. Most of the enemies go down with one or two bullets, and thats mainly the humans. The tanks and other robots on the other hand require a few cannon shots to go down. Power ups like extra ammo and health(?)(I think), can keep you going for a while. Even though its just a demo and Ive had it for over a year, I still play it because its still freakin awesome.
Its just that the run and gun and shoot things can get a little irritating at times.
The graphics remind me of an Armored Core game. But thats ok, Armored Core is awesome. And I had Subway for dinner. The explosions are original and the guns that produce them are also. The levels (or level since mine is a demo) is full of signs with foriegn letters. Japanese most likely.
But wait, its a Japanese game, how can you understand them? Its ok, they speak in English, entirely. Even if the voice acting is a little lame its not a hard story to follow. The explosions would be awesome on surround sound. But unfortunately I only have a mono tv. Not even stereo. Yeah I know, just shed a tear for me.
If I had this game Id play it until the disc melted. But even the demo is good enough to keep me playing it for... 2 years now. The replay value for me would be through the roof. Id keep this even after the Xbox is just a dim memory.
Rarely does a game come along that requires you to blow things up so much and do it so well, simply put: I love this freakin game.
