a challenging platformer mixed with variety of characters, settings and great bosses makes for a great arcade game.
Graphics: nice and detailed settings. gore effects are nice
Playability: the computer works the best but the wii is still acceptable
Sound: think classic arcade shots and screams
Entertainment: not alot of guns but when you get a shotgun, super grenade launcher, or even a laser gun the fun really starts to begin. added with the choatic campaign and interesting variety this game is worth getting though its basically 6 games instead of 7 because metal slug x is like metal slug 2
Replay Value: moderately high
Storyline: there is none basically you just shoot a bunch of soldiers with surprising AI. but who wouldn't want to shoot a soldier with a pistol and see a fontain of blood come up. or shoot a guy with a rocket launcher and see limbs fly everywhere.whether story or not its still satisfying to blow soldiers to smuges
