Metal Slug Anthology (PSP) Review
Metal Slug Anthology is a great game, whether you are a fan of Metal slug or not.
The Good
The graphics are very cartoony and artistic - The gameplay is frantic and mindless, yet addictive and fun - 7 GAMES!!! -
Lots of Extras, like wallpapers, art galleries, music, and an interview with SNK - The game is very funny, ranging from zombies vomiting on their hands and chucking it at you, to enemy soldiers laughing hysterically when you die, and shriek in terror once they've realized you've come back to life
The Bad
Bad frame rate slows down the action severely. Metal Slug X is almost the EXACT same thing as Metal Slug 2 (with some levels from the first Metal Slug).

Graphics: 8/10, There are lots of animations, nice colors, and some of the things you will see in this game are HILARIOUS, but the frame rate gets bad very often.
Sound: 10/10, Great music, really great, and the announcer sounds over the top and funny.
Controls: 10/10, Only 3 buttons you need to use, 1: the jump button (X), 2: the fire button, 3: the grenade button. It's as easy as that!
Difficulty: 10/10, quite hard, I have to use infinite lives!
Value: 10/10, It only takes about 6 hours to beat all of the games, (Or at least that's how long it took me), but there are lots of unlockables, which pushes you to keep on playing to unlock everything, and the games are just very fun to replay.
Overall: 9.8/10, It's a blast from the past, it's fun, it's fast paced, and it's tongue-in-cheek humor has a pretty wide spectrum, so almost everyone will get a laugh out of the game. I completely recommend that you buy this game as soon as possible!
