The original blew me away and now this time it blew me away again but even further away!

Release Date: March 9, 2004

This game is essentially a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid from the classic Playstation system. Many people would think a remake of any video game would be a good/bad idea. Well it was a good idea this time around. Because they combined the gameplay elements of Metal Gear Solid 2 into Metal Gear Solid 1 and you get Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes.

Now let's get started with the gameplay of this video game it's still the same stealth and action gameplay you would expect from a Metal Gear Solid game. But since this is a remake of the original it has upgraded some gameplay elements, like shooting in first person view and more stealth options. Now the controls of this game have to matter, so you are able to be stealthy, sneaky, and any other spy name terms for gameplay. It's a good first try on a GameCube for controls, but it may take some time to getting used to, it would only take about 10 - 20 minutes then you'll be set.

The story is still well told, with better and smoother cinematics, and voice acting. They even added a couple of new cinematics since it's obviously a remake. Yes, some of the cinematics are long, but you will be so hooked on the story, and what is happening in the cinematics, you wouldn't really care.

You all are probably asking (maybe) why is there a kinda low score for Replay Value? Once you finish this game, depending on which ending, you will get a special prize you will receive, once you save your game save at the end of the credits. You'll get a harder difficulty and more options for your gameplay. When you get spotted in the game, it will be a game over (it's hard)! That's if you allow that option before you start a new game. Once you get the other special prize, there isn't much else you can do, besides to play the other harder difficulty's, obtain all the dogs tags, and do one of the hardest gaming options in history. No radar, game over when detected, and hardest difficulty, I plainly will say if somebody does this with ease you're a Metal Gear Solid legend.
This game is really fun, for anybody who is a fan of the first game, any of the games, and anybody who wants to try to play the Metal Gear series for the first time. I highly recommended you get this game. But that's if you can get it before anyone else.
