Probably the baddest buy so far and again a very bad review from Gamespot crew. Ill give a bit history first on MGS, its origin I loved at the MSX2 platform and I played that game over and over again, it had a game time from start to end from over 20hours at start and after U got the hang of it U were able to finish it in 7hours. Then on the PS when metal gear came at it I was really thrilled and they did an awesome job getting it into 3d and all, really well done from Konami. Now with his comeback at the PS2 I was really thrilled again seeing the first movies from the gameplay, gfx awesome so blindly bought the game and then got shocked cos what I got was a longplay anim movie with some gaming bits inbetween cos thats what I is. When U are a good gamer U play bits in a few minutes and then get another cutscene from 5 minutes or more .... this sometimes goes to an anim of 12 MINUTES !! Sorry but this is a tactical shooting game and most players dont really care for the storyline off the game ... i finished the game cos I payed a lot for it and after the end I played it again and I clocked it at 48 minutes gametime ... isnt that amazing. A more then 10 year old gaming platform (MSX2) offers U a fun experience of 7 hours, faster isnt possible and now with stat of the art dvd medium (MSX2 game was on a 720KB flop) they take it down to 48minutes of actually gameplay and the rest off the time U are skipping the cinematics inbetween.
