First things first, I do love this game. It was my first MGS game (it wasn't that hard to understand without playing the original) and I really think it is an excellent game. However, if you don't like your games with stories, look elsewhere. There's nearly as much watching as there is playing. However, to fans, the story is just as important as the game, so that's fine. The story starts out great and stays great until about the last twenty minutes of the game (most of that being cutscenes). It's confusing, and once you understand it it requires too much suspension of disbelief. Still, most of all the story is great, with (mostly) good writing and voice acting. The graphics are superb, even by today's standards. The just look wonderful, and run really smoothly. This is a highly cinematic game, even during gameplay. Buy this game if you're interested.
