Think of what you like about GTA and take it to a world where you are a mercenary in the middle of a war zone with 4 unique factions, each with its own weapons, vehicles and air units. There are so many subtle things about the game that makes it truly shine above the rest of the Xbox offerings. The Good: - A game that is packed with content and will keep you busy for many hours. Excellent value. - Amazing graphics and sound for the Xbox - varied mission design that will keep you busy. Things get even more interesting later on as accept mission from one faction puts you in direct conflict with other group(s). - Tonz of weapons and land and air units to play with. - takes the GTA formula to the nth level The Bad: - will keep you away from loved ones and you might get fired from work for playing this game too much CONCLUSION: To sum it up in one sentence, mercenaries is the best game i have played on the xbox in recent memory. No other game has offered so much that it has kept me hooked for more than 15 hours. Buy, Rent, or eBay: Being a cheap bastard I almost never recommend buying a game but this one is worth the full price tag.... every penny of it.
